For software and IT professionals
01What this is
Find out how good you actually are.
An interview-style evaluation. You keep the result, and it works for every job you go for.
Your evaluator is an Industry Expert: twelve to twenty years into your field, and still working in it. They assess you for 90 minutes, one on one, then write it up. Not a quiz, and not a recruiter screen.
Who it is forDepth in a few fields, not a little of everything.

We go deep rather than wide, and seniority is not a barrier. We evaluate developers and analysts as readily as QA leads, technical leads and delivery managers. You build your own focus from there, down to your platforms and individual skills. If we cannot match you with an Industry Expert, you get a full refund.

“Reasoned clearly about consistency and ordering at scale, with sound trade-offs under questioning.”

A development plan. What to work on next, from someone senior who just spent two hours on you.
↑ Deepen domain-specific modeling over general patterns.
↑ Broaden event-driven patterns for very high scale.

Your evaluation also puts you in front of companies that come to us with roles they cannot fill. When one matches your role, domain and platform, verified professionals are put forward first.
Explained in full · See 0503Who evaluates you
An Industry Expert, not a recruiter.
Industry Experts apply to Certyco and are vetted before they take a single session. Principal engineers, architects, chief architects and senior consultants, typically twelve to twenty years in and still working in the field. You are matched by role, domain and platform, so the person asking the questions has shipped the same kind of work you have.
The obvious worry“So can they be leaned on?”
They are independent. They are not hiring you, they do not recruit, and they are paid the same whatever they score you. Nobody at Certyco can change a score after it is written.
04Not our words
They published their results, under their own names.
Your evaluation is private, and most people keep it that way. These professionals chose to put theirs on LinkedIn in public, scores included. Open any note to read the whole post, then follow it through to the original.
A few of the public onesTheir scores, in their words.
05Where it goes
Companies bring us roles they cannot fill.
They come to us because the role is senior, the pool is small, and resumes are not telling them enough. It is the same ground as above: specialised platform work where a job title says almost nothing about whether someone can actually do it. When one matches your role, domain and platform, verified professionals are put forward first.
Said plainly“And if nothing matches?”
We do not run a job board, we do not apply to jobs on your behalf, and we are not going to pretend the flow is constant. When something matches, you hear from us. Everything above is yours either way.
